Dear Colleagues

It is our pleasure to invite you and the members of your EPU team to visit the Principality of Wales in November this year for an update on recent advances in Early Pregnancy.

The 2 day conference programme is dynamic, offering a choice of sessions for you to build up your own self-directed learning.

We have plenary sessions on Practical Ultrasound along with Masterclasses and Hands-On Workshops. The new 2016 RCOG Green Top Guidelines on Ectopic Pregnancy and Hyperemesis will be presented by the authors and discussed.

This year’s programme seeks to look beyond our own units inviting perspectives and updates from opinion leaders from overseas as well as from centres of excellence in the UK.

We have scheduled new features including ‘Missed opportunities’, Social Media use in Early Pregnancy and ‘Meet the Experts’. From previous years and by popular demand we have our Debate and the ‘This is how we do it … the Early Pregnancy Unit Manual’ quick fire last session.

The AEPU conference is an important time to meet colleagues and friends, to develop existing relationships and create ongoing collaborations. Cardiff will look after us well and we plan a modest social programme to complement the hard working programme.

We invite you to schedule in this conference with your team, plan your abstract submissions and to look forward to another great two days together.
